This causes problem when you need to manage your collection, we don’t have any information about the album or artist of the track. The utility has the capability to acquire full discographies of all singers and groups from freedb.org. The data collected by the program is displayed on the interface for the viewing and string convenience of the users. FreeDBGrabber 2.16 consists of simple and decently designed interface with easy to use options. When you want to search for the information, you simply need to launch the application and perform some simple steps. To start the info search you’re provided with two options to select from; Artist and Album. Make selection of any one and enter the related name in the given field. For example if you want to search info using Artist feature, then you need to enter the singer’s name in the given field and carry out the search. The program searches for the related info and finally displays it on the program screen. It displays the info in the expandable form with singer, his/her album, and then containing songs. You can easily save and export the data on your PC with .rtf format. To make the program work as per your requirements, you can modify the Settings to alter search, filtration, and connection settings.

Program gives you ability to obtain full enough discographies of all better or less known groups and singers. Data is collected from freedb.org, one of the world's largest released CDs database. Search results are displayed on the screen for comfortable viewing.

Catalogues, saved in the internal format can be viewed and split together with other saved catalogues.
There's also a version for portable devices called FreeDBMobile which has the same functionality and features except for exporting to RTF.
